 | | LeAnn is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has come up with an amazing and unique combo for us to play with! The colors are Basic Black, Basic White and Basic Gray. The dessert option is to pick one additional color to add to your project.
It took me almost no time to decide these colors would be perfect for a gray cat with black stripes, and that, of course, led me to my collection of Tim Holtz Snarky Christmas Cats. I think they're so adorable!
I stamped the cat in archival black ink on watercolor paper and colored him with my new Karin brush markers and a waterbrush. Then I fussy cut him out and eventually mounted him on an action wobble. I created a little winter scene with a snowbank and a gray sky with some white embossed snowflakes. I cut a thin red border and stamped the sad little greeting in black ink, then mounted all on a white card base.
