I am beyond excited to have Basic Black, Basic White, and Basic Gray as our colors for this weekâs challenge. The dessert option is to add your favorite color. Thanks to LeAnn, our host, for choosing this fun color combination.
For my card, I began by using gray ink to create a plaid background. I then used the same gray ink and a blending tool to color the die cut leaves. Yellow isnât necessarily my favorite color but, I thought the addition of a small pop of yellow would add just the right amount of brightness.

This week is going to be such fun, seeing different interpretations of the color combo. I love, love, love the pop of yellow and the sparkly greeting! Very pretty card!

Marianne... Your plaid background is perrrrrfect! I love your delicate yellow flowers for dessert, (that is, as long as we don't really have to eat them)! I'm thrilled you liked the challenge enough to make two cards! TFS
