2020BLITZ2 A Wintry Scene
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: cdimick

This is my entry for Dina's Falliday tutorial, Die Cut Relief found here: Die Cut Relief Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers

I had to think about this one to decide what die cuts to use. I finally decided on this Winter Wonderland Die'sire die set which includes the snowflakes. This die cuts a scene into the paper but doesn't cut around it so I die cut it and then fussy cut around it. I then die cut the snowflakes multiple times.

From there, I followed the steps of the tutorial using gel medium to adhere the die cuts to a watercolor panel. Once that was completely dry, I painted the dark blue all over the panel. I then dry brushed purple, green, and finally white.

I adhered the panel to a 5x7 card base. I then heat embossed a sentiment and popped it up. I thought about adding sequins but decided to let the panel speak for itself.

Fun tutorial, thank you! And thank you for looking!

Of all the cards done for this tutorial, I've decided that blues and greens work the best...oh and having such lovely dies as you do also helps.
