This card is for the Teapot Party and for Lisa's Uncle and Aunt who are going through a rough patch and need some cheering up. I thought I would send them some Aussie mates to make them smile.
The BG panel was sitting in my stash and has shine on there which isn't showing in the photo. I had made it some time ago when playing with my gelli plates and acrylic paints. It was so colourful and reminded me of the colours for this week's Colour Challenge so I will add it to that too. I sponged over the colours with some yellow, blue and green TH inks to make it more vibrant and fill in the white spaces.
It reminded me of the colours in the sky when the sun is setting. These 2 farmers are sitting on their fence enjoying the view. Perhaps it's the sunset or perhaps a firework display although I doubt this in the bush. I've used this die cut a lot and particularly when sending cards overseas.
I stamped their mates and coloured them with Copics and die cut them into a tag. My tag is in the shape of Oz. Added twine to the fence and dangled my tag on top. Sentiment stamped and done.
This card will wing its way to Neil & Chris in the next few days.
TFL. Happy day

Such a great background! Fab dies and fab images. This will thrill them because is is so unique and also because it comes from Australia and has an Aussie theme. Very cool. Hugz

Fabulous! The background reminds me of a colorful sunrise for a good day. Love the silhouette die-cut of cowboys on a fence. The Aussie critters are so fun. Wonderful card for both challenges and sure to bring a smile.

Another yay her for that beautiful background. I love when you use this silhouette die cut. It's definitely a winner. And, I love that you add the Aussie touch with the critters. So are kangaroo hopping through the Bush the equivalent of buffalo roaming the range in the US? I think so. Fun and fabulous card.

You know a couple of cowboys in the fence can always draw my attention but when I got a closer look at your card, I have to say that those Aussie critters were the real attention getter as well as that awesome background!
