This card is for the Teapot Party and for Lisa's Uncle and Aunt who are going through a rough patch and need some cheering up. I thought I would send them some Aussie mates to make them smile.
The BG panel was sitting in my stash and has shine on there which isn't showing in the photo. I had made it some time ago when playing with my gelli plates and acrylic paints. It was so colourful and reminded me of the colours for this week's Colour Challenge so I will add it to that too. I sponged over the colours with some yellow, blue and green TH inks to make it more vibrant and fill in the white spaces.
It reminded me of the colours in the sky when the sun is setting. These 2 farmers are sitting on their fence enjoying the view. Perhaps it's the sunset or perhaps a firework display although I doubt this in the bush. I've used this die cut a lot and particularly when sending cards overseas.
I stamped their mates and coloured them with Copics and die cut them into a tag. My tag is in the shape of Oz. Added twine to the fence and dangled my tag on top. Sentiment stamped and done.
This card will wing its way to Neil & Chris in the next few days.
TFL. Happy day

I love all the Aussie touches on your card and the amazing BG for them too. My aunt and uncle live on a farm and they have a huge cornfield behind their house and an apple orchard in the front yard. They will absolutely love this card. Thank you so much for taking the time to make them a card and send it. It means the world to me that my crafty friends are trying to bring them some smiles.

I think those dies are great, I have seen Susie and maybe Helen using them too. And what a fab background. The image with all the Aussie animals is fantastic but looks very detailed to colour! I had fun looking at them all, is the little hedgehoggy thing an echidna? Aside from being Tasmania ;-).
