I created this card inspired by the sketch challenge at Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine's 2020 World Card Making Day celebration. The sketch as given was vertical, but I turned it 90 degrees to make it fit my elements better.
I cut a panel of textured silver cardstock to 4-1/2x3-1/4". I also cut a panel of white cardstock to the same size. I positioned the white panel in my MISTI, and centered the menorah stamp. I used Blue Jay ink to stamp that. Without removing the stamp, I placed my silver panel in the MISTI, and stamped the menorah using Ranger Cobalt Archival ink. (I used a different ink just so it wouldn't smear.) I repeated this process for the 2 Stars of David. I used the stamped images on the silver panel as a guide for die cutting the windows.
After die cutting the windows, I lined up the silver panel over the white to make sure the windows were spaced over the stamped images correctly. The openings were just a hair off, so I had to shimmy the silver panel a bit. But it worked out OK. I added foam tape to the back of the silver panel, and adhered it over the white. I did trim around the edges of the white panel, just to be sure nothing showed from behind the silver.
I stamped my greeting in Jet Black ink onto a scrap of vellum, & cut it into a label. I used Plus vellum adhesive on either end of that to adhere it over the menorah cutout. (Thank you, Lydia Fiedler, for recommending that adhesive!) I adhered a panel of patterned paper to my card base, & finally mounted my main panel over that.

Andrea, what a beautiful Hanukkah card! I love the layout and how you've designed the card. And yes, what a great suggestion for the adhesive for vellum. This will be loved! Hugs and love, sweet friend! xoxo
