Lisa gave us a challenge on what we would do on our day off. Mine is a little different, because of retirement. There are many things we can't do right now unless they are outdoors and few people involved. Three times a week three of us take a walk in the morning. It is on a road that runs through a woods and swamp. The road was constructed during the depression. The base is actually made of logs with layers and layers of gravel. There is wildlife like deer, turkeys, sand cranes and other critters. It can be driven on, but very little traffic. We really enjoy the birds. The best thing is we talk and share are thoughts. Like many of us, we miss our families and friends. We walk all twelve months, unless the weather is bad. This and making cards have kept me sane through this pandemic. Printed digi, colored, added stencil bg and sponged around the edges. Tried to watercolor the die sentiment with the colors in the image. TFL

How beautiful this is!! How lucky you are to have two others to join you in your walks. We have to be content watching our many bird feeders. I have to tell you about the blue jays. My DH feeds them peanuts in the shells. They are very funny. They pick one up, shake it, and put it back if it isn't full enough! When we walk out of the house to the garage or mailbox, the blue jays fuss if there are no peanuts!

Ohhh, Linda! Your card is perfection! Rich colors & beautiful coloring ... not to mention an outstanding background!
Sure would love to have walking buddies as you've described... and a nearby safe & lovely place to walk.
Wow, Linda, your card is just stunning! You paint so beautifully! This sounds like a lovely walk with friends. I like watching the birds but for my Dh and me it has to be in our back yard. Quite a few come to our feeders so we're always entertained.

If I went on a walk around here, I'd be eaten up with chiggers! I took carrots & apples outside to the deer in the front yard, & I was EATEN UP the other day! UGH!!! OR I COULD get eaten by much larger critters!!! LOL BIG INKY HUGS for your SWEET ENCOURAGING VISITS!!!! HUGS!!! ;)<3
