Lisa gave us a challenge on what we would do on our day off. Mine is a little different, because of retirement. There are many things we can't do right now unless they are outdoors and few people involved. Three times a week three of us take a walk in the morning. It is on a road that runs through a woods and swamp. The road was constructed during the depression. The base is actually made of logs with layers and layers of gravel. There is wildlife like deer, turkeys, sand cranes and other critters. It can be driven on, but very little traffic. We really enjoy the birds. The best thing is we talk and share are thoughts. Like many of us, we miss our families and friends. We walk all twelve months, unless the weather is bad. This and making cards have kept me sane through this pandemic. Printed digi, colored, added stencil bg and sponged around the edges. Tried to watercolor the die sentiment with the colors in the image. TFL

Linda, this is so beautiful and thanks for sharing your story. There are many little things like that , that we all miss now. All I can say is that we will REALLY appreciate the return of those walks and talks with our friends.

Fantastic job...stenciling, digi design perfectly colored/shaded! Bird leaves and berries so real looking! The die cut headline done beautifully. Love how you water colored it to match design.
