 | | I have always wanted to try an Eclipse card - This is the first and will probably be my last as it took me almost 6 hours to put together . . . . and because of that let me add my apologies to whoever receives this card as I don't have time to start over now that I'm back to work full time . . . .
I downloaded and printed the plain teapot - Then masked it and stamped the hearts and flowers border across the center in Ruby Red. Colored the teapot with prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol. Die cut my sentiment 3 times (plain white, black and then from the card front). I layered each letter 3 times and set back into the teapot. I was down to placing the final 2 letters when OOPS - reality FINALLY dawned on me that what I created was a Scottish Taepot! After a quick study, I realized there is no easy fix for this type of card. I am totally heartsick about this . . . but crap happens and life will go on just the same. SO - I framed it with red, Using a corner adorner to punch the slots then fussy cut the frame with a deckle edged scissors, mounting the entire piece on a white card base. |
