Anna challenged to use wood, trees, leaves, etc. on our cards. That was perfect for a Freetown card--home of the Freetown State Forest. This is also my card for the Crafters of Faith challenge this month where Jeanette has challenged us to put something on our cards that we are grateful that God created. I'm grateful for nature's beauty and for my beautiful town. I dug through my box of backgrounds and found this gelli print that used a part of my dahlia plant and chlorophyll print from a couple years ago that used hydrangea leaves. I stamped and embossed the "hello" and printed out the "from Freetown" which I popped up. Did some simple framing and let the pretty leafy backgrounds shine. I was going to do some paint splatter to make it more mixed media, but I really like it the way it is.
