Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some bright and patriotic colors: Blueberry Bushel, Real Red and Whisper White. The dessert option is "Patriotic." Check!
I have always loved this digi from Mo Manning. But as a person who can't draw AT ALL, I was challenged by the blank flag. I gathered up all my courage and some Copic markers, and drew in the facsimile of an American flag. The stars are drawn in with a white gel pen.
Once I got past the flag, coloring Kacy was a breeze. I added in some grass with the neutral, Mossy Meadow, and added a few sequins. This is a 5 x 7 card. The layers were cut with Waffle Flower dies that come in that size and configuration. The greeting was cut from red glimmer paper to give the card some sparkle. A few sequins, and it was done!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

I love your card Barbara!! Your Mo looks great waving the flag around. I also really like the sentiment celebrate - your whole card looks like a celebration. Great job!! :>)

How cute is this little girl waving her flag? What a fabulous card Barbara and your flag turned out wonderfully, obviously with lots of patience to create all those tiny stars!!
