Chris is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week. Her colors are Pineapple Punch, Coastal Cabana, and Basic Gray. The desert option is to have some thing round on your card. Now, you know I always want dessert, so this was a perfect opportunity to try out my new Kaleidoscope dies. They are such fun to use, and it's easy to get great results.
I added Night of Navy, one of the neutral colors in the Stampin' Up! palette, as my bottom kaleidoscope layer, then Coastal Cabana and Pineapple Punch on top. It was my intention to stamp the greeting with my Basic Gray stamp pad, but it has completely disappeared! I have no idea where it walked off to, so I had to sub Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide. I hope it's a close match! This was going to be a card that could be used for a masculine recipient, but I think all the gems make it destined for a woman!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Those dies do look like a lot of fun, Barbara! And, while they hold much potential for masculine cards, I really like how you did this one with the jewels.

a fresh and feminine take on these bold colors. I love the scalloped edge as well as the sequins. And the weight of the kaleidoscopes with the breezy feel of the bottom!
