The Color Challenge team has selected a theme for this month: Christmas in July!
Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week. She is using one of the new In-Colors, Rococo Rose, as well as Soft Seafoam and Very Vanilla. I don't have the new Rococo Rose ink, so I've substituted Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide, which I think is a pretty close match. The dessert option is pearls.
I am using this month's theme to get a jump start on my 2019 Christmas cards! I pulled out a favorite Christmas set from Gina K, Merry and Bright, and stamped the Christmas ball image twice with VersaMark ink onto Mixed Media paper. I heat embossed one in silver and the other in gold. Then I sponged the two ink colors onto the baubles and fussy cut them out.
I cut the lattice trim in gold foil and stamped the greeting in VersaMark, and then heat embossed in gold on a base of Primitive Cream cardstock. I popped the green bauble up on foam tape, and adhered the lattice trim. Added a few sequins and pearls and it was done!
We hope you'll play along in the Color Challenge this week, whether you use the colors for a Christmas card or for a card for some other occasion. We'd love to see what you create with these colors!

Beautiful! I've been playing with Christmas ornaments all afternoon for something else, thinking I should have tried them with the challenge colors too - and here you've already done it with this pretty pair.

Such gorgeous ornaments, I love how you did each one with separate colors and embossing powders. The gold lattice trim at top and bottom is stunning. A real beauty Barbara!
