Benzi selected a magnificent site for yesterday's Inspiration Challenge. Thank you, Brenda!
I selected this beautiful piece of wall art as my inspiration.
I stamped the tulip image onto a piece of X-Press It cardstock and began coloring it with copics. I also used copics to color the remaining white portion of the cardstock. Then I used a stylus on the back of the cardstock within the tulip image in an attempt to give them dimension. It doesn't appear in the photo but IRL it looks nice. I finished the image panel by adding my sentiment and die cutting it with Divinity Designs Scalloped Rectangles Dies. I used the remainder of the cardstock to create a purple (the color looks blue in the pic) border using the same dies. I cut a smaller white frame to go around the image panel.
I lifted the image panel with foam tape and glued the frames onto the card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wow! Bev, you did my favorite flower, the tulip. I love this card and the use of the stylus on the back of the tulips is such a great idea. The red tulips with the purple looks awesome. So happy you got to play in my challenge.

Stunning with the vibrant colors. You put a great amount of effort in all your cards...it shows. Coloring the entire bg is quite amazing. Super idea to burnish with the stylus. Hugs TFS

So very pretty, Bev. That purple bg is just yummy...such a deep, rich color. The white scalloped frame is so fresh and reminds me of lace. What a gorgeous springtime card.

Bev, this is terrific! Love that you added dimension to the tulips by embossing from behind. Your coverage on your background is outstanding and love the tulips on a dark background, something I never think to do. Beautiful card!

Can't wait for the tulips to bloom this Spring. And Bev, your beautiful red ones against that deep purple look so pretty. The white scalloped borders really bring out the dramatic colors and coloring. Gorgeous card.
