Benzi selected a magnificent site for yesterday's Inspiration Challenge. Thank you, Brenda!
I selected this beautiful piece of wall art as my inspiration.
I stamped the tulip image onto a piece of X-Press It cardstock and began coloring it with copics. I also used copics to color the remaining white portion of the cardstock. Then I used a stylus on the back of the cardstock within the tulip image in an attempt to give them dimension. It doesn't appear in the photo but IRL it looks nice. I finished the image panel by adding my sentiment and die cutting it with Divinity Designs Scalloped Rectangles Dies. I used the remainder of the cardstock to create a purple (the color looks blue in the pic) border using the same dies. I cut a smaller white frame to go around the image panel.
I lifted the image panel with foam tape and glued the frames onto the card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wow....the blue background really makes the tulips "pop"...and how you used a stylus on the backside is interesting....I will have to try that....
Such a sharp looking card!

Oh my gosh, Bev, this is stunning and a beautiful replication of the IC picture! Using the stylus is a wonderful idea for adding dimensions without layers or foam tape.

Wow Bev, this is one gorgeous card. The bold blue is a bit unexpected, yet so striking and so elegant too. I can see where you did the embossing around the flowers Bev and I know that adds a lot. I need to remember to do this myself. Stunning card my friend! ~Karen.

Bev, your card is beautiful. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers and it has a very special meaning to me. When I was sick, I had my husband plant tulip bulbs for me. I knew when the tulips came up, my treatments would be over. I loved seeing those tulips bloom. Hugs.
