WT614 Away in a Manger
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Cook22

This is for today's WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.

My choice of card was dictated by the fact that I still need some Christmas cards for posting locally...so I used the Stable Card tutorial from Resources. Last time I made one of these, I made it larger and had my star higher so that I had to mail them in board-backed envelopes; lesson learned, these fit in my regular square envelopes.

Nothing to explain, it's all in the tutorial. I used pencils to colour my image. Two stars are cut from gold card and have Stickles, two were cut from a tomato paste tube. I added the banner sentiment because it didn't look right to have something stamped on the base, but the inside also has "Joy to the world, the Lord is come" stamped, before I decided to add the front sentiments.

Wonderfully designed and colored cards, Sabrina. The banner fits perfectly across the front and looks great. The big gold stars look so pretty.

Cute little manager scene. Thanks for the tip about the star. I can see me doing something like that and postage isn't cheap.

Not only beautiful Christmas cards, but punch a small hole and use some cording...and a lovely tree ornament. Your coloring is so soft and beautifully done, Sabrina.
