For this week's colors Mary chose Black, Garden Green, a favorite red and Christmas for desert. First, I embossed using my tulip ef, punched the ferns from naturals white and colored with a blender pen and ink pad, added some black branches and finally sponged the cardinal in red on red cs. I checked out a tutorial for ways to use the bird punch to create different types of birds. I used a white gel pen on his body, popped him up then added the peace banner. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

Ah, Roberta, I love your sweet little cardinal and the very clever way you used the tulip embossing folder for the borders on this card. So pretty!

Wow Roberta, this is so gorgeous! I love cardinals and this one is fantastic! The white gel pen really makes this bird pop. I love the layers of branches you have behind this wonderful cardinal. The hint of embossing in the background is so elegant and your sentiment is perfect! Whomever receives this beauty will be thrilled! Hugs! ~Karen.
