Here is another close-up view of the flowers and the beautiful, intricate heart die-cut from the Timeless Amour collection from Heartfelt Creations. As well, the flowers are die-cut from various flower dies from HC as well. And a close-up view especially of the Fretwork Frame edge that I love so much--have you ever seen a more elegant frame?! I have totally fallen in love with creating flowers like this, and look forward to working on more dimensional flowers. However I have just started making a 3rd batch of these single layers of flowers, and hope to be able to create more of these flowers that I enjoy painting so much!!! I wanted you give a close-up view of these shimmery flowers and that intricate heart die-cut.
I still struggle taking photos of cards with glitter and metallic shine, but hopefully I am learning. I can see I have much to learn especially about composition and how to best show my cards with other elements to create more interest in the photo like I have seen in other's cards both here and on some blogs. How I appreciate all that I learn from viewing your cards, and how you place them and arrange you cards!
This is a card made for my dear, sweet friend, Sue, who lives next door to me in my condo building. She has been away for 4 weeks after having a mild stroke and heart attack, and I am so relieved she could come home. She is a wonderfully intelligent lady who reminds me in so many ways of my grandmother, especially her independence, her strength, and her kindness and love for others.
Fortunately I had these die-cuts already cut, painted, and treated, so putting a simple card like this together was really very easy. The inside of the card has only another heart die-cut colored in a similar manner for an embellishment with my hand-written welcoming note to Sue.
If you have any questions regarding how to make these flowers, please see the Heartfelt Creations cards I made in June/July of 2014 for a longer description, and if you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
It has been many months since I have been able to create a card due to medical issues, and I am so thrilled to be back even to create this quick card! I will be starting a rather long process of dental surgeries and healing periods that will last approximately 10 months starting tomorrow. I have been through something similar 2 years ago, and the process was complicated and stressful, I would really appreciate your prayers for a successful outcome, as this will directly affect my ability to chew long-term. This is related to a car accident injury 25 years ago...
Thank you so much for stopping to look at my card. Please know that your comments mean so much to me--they are such an encouragement to me! How I appreciate all I learn from seeing all of your cards and watching SCS tutorials. It is especially helpful when I'm not able to make my own cards--it helps pass the time and keeps me inspired until I can make cards again. It is my hope to be soon back creating cards on a regular basis, something I enjoy so much. Know I have missed being able to create and upload cards, and am looking forward to trying some challenges too for the first time--I have much to learn!!!

This is so exquisite and so intricate. That's one gorgeous frame you've used. What you've done with it is way beyond my skill level. I think your photos are fabulous. I think most people have similar issues with photographic metallic. I will most definitely keep you in prayer as you embrace a l0 month dental surgery recovery. Hope all goes well. Cling to your faith, sweet girl.

Joanne, your technique is absolutely beautiful on your flowers. Did you use this painting style on the leaves you recently created? You are a woman of fine detail and it shows and I'm sure Sue was immensely blessed by your kindness and caring. This beauty I'm sure is a treasure in so many ways to her because of all that is embodied in the giving and receiving of it. What a blessing we can be through this media even when we have our own struggles. My own mom and her friend just spent a long year trying to get things sorted out with dentures and it affected both of their diets and chewing for so long and was a bit discouraging for them so I am very sympathetic to what lies ahead for you and will pray for wisdom and good work for those attending this and good recovery for you. Thank you for the kind words and encouragement you offer to others here. May they come back to you tenfold

This is a beautiful card for your friend! Your flowers are just gorgeous!
How wonderful that even though you have current medical problems, you took the time to make this for your friend and even shared it with us.

Your card is stunning and I am certain Sue feels the same way about it.
I have said a prayer on your behalf. I'm praying that each surgery is successful and paves the way for a smooth transition to next one on the schedule. May God bless you and be with you during this stressful time ahead.
