This is a very close-up view of the Fretworks Frame die (definitely one of my favorite dies of all time, I love its elegance!)--you can see that yummy, glittery violet 3D Stamp Paint and the Glossy Accents on top. As well, you have a close-up view of the flowers in the upper left-hand corner. It was my desire that you could see the mixture of paint colors, each flower is a little different--some have some glitter added, some have Prills or other embellishments. Some had a layer of Glossy Accents, others had a layer of crackle instead--I have used Tim Holtz Rock Candy Crackle paint that I personally found I had to apply quite thickly to get the crackle layer that I was looking to achieve.
I am in the process of creating a 3rd layer of these flowers, and hopefully they will be different again as I play around and try some new things. Sometimes all I create is a muddy mess, other times I come up with something that I am really happy with, as I've been with these flowers. I have yet to create some more dimensional flowers, then I will need to make some dimensional envelopes as well which will be a new experience. To me, it is amazing that I could create these beautiful flowers, if I can do it then clearly anyone can, for I have absolutely no artistic training or ability at all. I do find that the more I make cards, the more I am drawn to colors, and love blending them. It's apparent to me that there is much emotion in color, especially in color combinations--how fun is that!!!
Thank you so much for stopping and looking at my cards--that means a great deal to me. And please know how much I appreciate it when you leave a comment, it quite literally makes my day!!!
I have so missed being able to make and upload cards for many months due to health issues, and I am starting tomorrow a lengthy process of dental surgeries and healing periods in between that will take about 10 months. I went through a similar process about 2 years ago that was more complex than anticipated, and that made it all very stressful. I would very much appreciate your prayers as I start this process tomorrow, that the whole process will be successful. I am very much looking forward to being able to create more cards and upload them here, and one of my goals is to start my own little blog. That has been a dream of mine, and I hope to create mine soon.
Thanking everyone at SCS for all I learn from your cards and from the great tutorials here on SCS. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming, and it is my goal to be as encouraging as you have all been to me. Have a great day!!!

I'm sorry that your ongoing trials are still - testing, to say the least. Dental issues are definitely not fun, and I hope you get a good resolution this time round.
And...as always, your flowers are just beautiful!! That bright golden one is my favourite on this close-up shot. I am sure your neighbour was so touched to receive such a heartfelt creation from you.
