This week's tutorial called to me. I got home from a long day at work and because I was so tired I pulled out my die cut extras. I made various thicknesses, left some edges unglued and used twine. I even found some punch holes and a couple of other doo-dads lying on my work surface to glue down. I JUST bought a bow easy... what a difference in my bows that makes. I am giving this to my local craft store. They ordered in my gilder's paste as it is very difficult to find locally or online. I will let them post this as a demo card of how gilder's paste works. I picked the colors from this page: https://www.onekingslane.com/sales/52095 I hope the page doesn't change often, it is full of fancy soft blues/tans golds and white textiles on furniture. Lots of depth in the pieces which I tried to replicate in the card. This was a very fun project. I did ruin one of my favorite shirts when the tattered angels clogged:(
This card ties in to the Central theme for March because I absolutely love Butterflies and Hummingbirds. They are natural keys to my happiness!

So pretty in the blues. I think butterflies and hummingbirds make everyone happy...sure do me. I have a Bow-Easy somewhere and have been needing to find it in the craft room. It's fairly easy to lose something in there if I don't use it a lot.

Love it! I watched the tutorial and would love to try this technique. Your card looks great. Tracy you need to edit your card and by keywords you need to put WT524. Do this with both cards. They will be in the challenge gallery. I'm off to check out your other card. Thanks for playing in the challenge.
I delivered this card to my local Scrapbooking store to demonstrate gilder's paste in action. The Card is now proudly on display at Lila's Scrapbooking in Everett Washington. I hope it nets her many sales!
