Sabrina's challenge has us "Holding It Together" with non-traditional adhesives. Sometimes it takes multiple strategies to hold it together, so I've used 4 on my card. I took a fine point pen and drew my flower then used the techniques from Lydia's stamp etching tutorial to add the details. This torn panel was first affixed using a brad through the center of the flower to hold the torn panel to the black panel. I then also sewed it into place (kind of thought it would go with the cross hatching on the image). The black panel is then fastened to the vanilla panel with the use of photo corner stickers. This panel is attached to the base panel using a slot punch with the vanilla panel slid under the punched slots. I used the same technique to add a vanilla panel to the inside of the card as well. I cut this sentiment off a phone image stamp and used a piece of double-sided tape to mount it to my block for stamping.
Are you playing along with us? If not, you're missing out on the chance to lift the spirits of women battling breast cancer at MD Anderson, and also on more than $5000 in prizes from your favorite crafty companies. So what are you waiting for? Get to stamping!

Gosh, Gail, this is fantastic! The zigzag stitching does indeed go perfectly with your etched flower. I didn't realise that the slot punch could be used an an angle like that - thanks for teaching me something new today and Holding It Together so wonderfully.
