I tried out two new techniques today! First up was the challenge technique to use a grid and clear sheet to sponge lines for this very cool quilt effect--very dimensional. Yesterday, through our featured stamper catluvr2 aka Priscilla, I learned how to emboss inside a nestie frame to give you a nice clean border. I didn't emboss inside my nestie, but I did this technique inside it to keep a frame. The CAS challenge was to use stars, so there are a few challenges and techniques covered in this quick little card

This is just gorgeous!! I love those brown tones with the primitive star and lace, and your sponging has come out beautifully with a real quilted look to it.

Ooh, Michele, this is soooooo pretty. I love that primitive star die you used and the pretty design on your star. Great quilted design and wonderful frame around it. Love the lace, too.....guess I just love it all. :-)
