After being somewhat frustrated with the blue lighthouse scene, I decided to try again with something different. This scene was actually a lot more difficult, with more elements and multiple stampings, and using more colors.
I did sort of follow a sample Stampscapes scene for the basic composition, making a few changes. This time I used a piece of computer paper the same size to test the placement of each element before stamping on the glossy paper.
I'm quite pleased with the results which encourages me to keep trying to improve the technique.
I gave this a difficulty rating of 5 because that's how hard it was for me. Perhaps in a few *years,* I'll consider this a less difficult scene to create. I received help from Kevin's (Stampscapes) videos on coloring.

Yowza! HOLY COW- WOW! I'm speechless! This is SO expertly done Val. Yes it's a 5 by all means! If I get to Texas will you teach? I had my comment half typed and stopped to add to favorites! Didn't mind starting over. This is one outstanding piece of artwork! I can only hope the recipient knows what went into creating this masterpiece.

Oh Val, this is stunning! I don't blame you for wanting to hang on to this one! I love the scene you created and the gorgeous colours you used! An awesome piece of art.
When I make scenic cards, I always create the scene on a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 piece of scrap paper. I save all junk mail that is blank on the back and use it up for things like that.

Wow!!!! I think you did an amazing job. I love the look. I don't have any stampscape stamps but I need to get brave and try them. This is beautiful and I hope it is for someone really special. Awesome card!
