I would like to request a teaparty for a mother of 5 who's husband passed away unexpectedly on Dec 30,2016.. Theirs was a fairy tale love story. They met when she was only 13 years old and were married three years later when she was 16 years old. Together they raised 5 children, 3 who are still in school. They would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Jan 3, 2017. Please no sympathy cards, instead cards with positive sentiments or quotes that would build her confidence would be greatly appreciated. She is just a plain ol country girl, can't start her day without her coffee and occasionally likes a glass of wine in the evening. Just gotta ask: where do you come up with these teapot stories? They're great. Maybe you should consider writing a book, if you haven't already! Just sayin.
Not sure if I can request a tea party or have a card from anyones stash for redi2stamp one of our group of teapotters. She has been in Ok. for past week as her mom was not doing well and I just got a note that her mom passed away Wed. Thanks and know will help ease the pain of loosing a loved one. DonnaJeanne
Thank you. I sent a reply on nov 30. Not sure how this works and if you got it. Happy to say, she was very lucky and her symptoms are responding to therapy. She just needed a short time with speech. She is doing well and back to an almost regular life. This has been a wake up call for children. Again I say SCS is made up of the best people. Hugs, E
Not sure if this is where to go but was wondering if you could send out to our teapotters to send a card from your stash to Safyre, as just read on Internet and has gone viral that she has one request for Christmas---cards from all over the world. She is now 8 and 2 years ago her father, sister, and 2 brothers died in a arson fire and was said they found her father covering her body. She had burns over 70% of body and lost arm and leg due to sever burns, showed her picture, and can check out at Dishnation.com to see if true. Just so sad.---thanks DonnaJeanne---am no relation to her nor know her just from what I read think no mother, a relative takes care of her.
Thanks for your reply. She is a quiet, very private person. I ve been sending her cards and we will get together in the next week or so as her speech therapy session schedule gets stable. Her husband told me, she is doing quite well, slurs speech. I have offered to help with extra practice as I am a former reading and English teacher. She is only 60 but going through an enormous stress period with a daughter who has returned home with numerous problems. I asked for help as I didnt want to do anything stupid during a first visit. Thanks for your help and offer. SCSs are the best.
