Poster: stampin'nana

Today's color challenge: A Perfect White Night. I stamped Old World Map bg in navy, the ship in navy also and sponged navy and plum and added a partial wheel. I needed a birthday card for my DH this Sunday, and with all that's going on this week, it nearly slipped by me! I was in a spin~but since he's been retired from the navy after nearly 27 years of service, I thought this card would be appropriate for him. He's not into all the embellishments, so this will work great! Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

Roberta, this is a wonderful b'day card for your DH...I'm sure he loves all things to do with the sea and your tall ship is magnificient. Your bg sponging is SO seamlessly smooth....gorgeous...like a misty morning.

The paper you used as your bg is outstanding against your boat! I love how you used the plum as a sponged color on the image. Lovely card!
