 | | This was my swap card for two recent swaps. The wheelbarrow image is stamped on sticky-back canvas with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. The image emerges when color is applied to the canvas with sponges. The color doesn't soak into the canvas where it has been embossed. I used Rose Red Classic Ink first, then followed with a little Pumice Stone to tone down and darken the red.
The Vanilla background pieces are stamped with the music from Ephemeral Backgrounds (Artistic Outpost), and the edges are sponged. I'm not familiar with the song, but I thought the sentiment "Time to Bloom" went nicely with the lyrics and wheelbarrow full of blooms. The lyrics are: "Summer and sunshine will tell me of you, When birds are singing their melodies true, Roses in bloom and the air filled with song while fondly for someone I long."
