 | | We head to Chicago this afternoon for a fun occasion. My niece, who graduated from college in the Spring, has landed a job and is moving into her first apartment. My sister's family, who recently majorly downsized houses to move to a Chicago condo, had put a bunch of furniture into storage for Rebecca and for our family I wanted to give Rebecca a few little items as a housewarming gift and this is the card I made to go with her gift.
I went with a big square card to accommodate the size of the blocks I wanted to make with these b/w papers. I am so terrible at making these scalloped squares using the scallop border punch so don't look too closely at my wonky corners!!!! Love the challenge to used patterned blocks...made a simple, quick card (after I made 3 scallops and finally settled for the best of the 3)! Just embossed a quick sentiment which I mounted on a scallop square and a big organdy bow and it was ready to go. |
