I made this for the ODBD Anniversary challenge. The second challenge was a montage of photos of china - I chose the second one from the bottom left. I used the flowers (the ones on the china jug reminded me of the sea daffodils we saw in Greece last year), the colours, and I glazed my image panel with 2 layers of UTEE to give a glazed china feel.
Just back from my Dad's - 10 1/2 hrs drive and 16 hours visit, so this is just a quick upload, along with adding yesterday's cotton sheep to my SCS gallery. I tried and tried from my dad's, but on dial-up it wasn't going to work.
Base is 5 3/4" square, covered with gold. I made some polished stone card using two shades of blue. The image was stamped on white card, minimal colour added, and then glazed with two layers of UTEE. I matted it on gold, and fixed to the base with little gold brads in each corner. The sentiment was stamped with black, cut with Blossoms 1 and edged with gold Stickles. I added some Primas, gems and punched leaves.
