how about a pack of nice (stamped) note cards? I also like to send cards to the teachers throughout the year to encourage them and tell them I'm still out there supporting them from the sidelines.

I also recommend using a bone folder to spread the ink onto the pad (like peanut butter). It will help it soak in faster. Then clean off the bone folder.

I buy a pack of 12 (or 13) "scratch pads" from Staples. I'm sure they have them at any office supply store. They are pretty inexpensive... probably about $6 for the whole pack.

I LOVE my stamp - a - ma - jig too. I don't use it too often, but love the idea that I can line things up perfectly when I really feel like it.
