I just made a scrapbook page, and my Michaels sewing machine skipped a lot of stitches! I had to re-do it. If you want to double mat your cardstock, it may skip. I think it can only handle one layer...

I have the one from Michaels. It works, but i hear there is a better one on the market... somewhere. Its small, but it has a foot petal! I think i would rather use a regular sewing machine though....
