Questions on Brother Cut and Scan

How do you put adhisive on small die cuts?

I have the new D- lites poppie die and I do not know how to apply adhesive to the tiny stems??? Any suggestions.I was going to try a glue pen.

I have seen a card on Raisin Boats blog with words and snow flakes and I think it is done with a technique where you use brilliance ink on the brayer and then stamp and brayer over with another kind...
