I use diamond dust all the time. Its a fine irrdecent. The Crystal has a greenish tinge but the diamond dust is more multi-coloured glittery..

I "need" these to make my pearl-ex experiences quick and easy with less steps for a permanent result. The instructions at this site state there is no need do do anything except stamp with the inks...
