Mary thanks for the color combo this week. I've had all of the stamps since 1997 and finally inked them. I've had this card in mind for 20 years and while doing this card I think I figured out what I like about stamping ... as a child I loved playing with paper dolls. I remember the paper dolls having a stand to hold them up. So I made a little five fold pop up but used it as a pop out. Mr. and Mrs. Clause fold into the card for mailing but fold out for dimension on the card. I believe that Mr. & Mrs. Claus would have the nativity scene in their home, so I tucked the little nativity scene ornament under the Merry Christmas cross stitch frame. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season. I just love the way it turned out.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

Oh, Tonda, I LOVE this card! Congratulations on being the Color Challenge favorite for last week! I can easily see why it was chosen! It is so precious and beautifully colored and made. I am so glad you were finally able to make it. What precious memories! And it's so very true that Jesus is The Reason! Hugs! xoxo

Awesome! What a wonderful Christmas scene. Love how you put this together. Your attention to detail is fabulous. You did all this with just the challenge colors and a few neutrals! Love that you added a nativity scene and the Jesus is the Reason sentiment. So glad that you could make the project that you've been thinking about and it turned out terrific! Great job. Congratulations! TFS
