Mary thanks for the color combo this week. I've had all of the stamps since 1997 and finally inked them. I've had this card in mind for 20 years and while doing this card I think I figured out what I like about stamping ... as a child I loved playing with paper dolls. I remember the paper dolls having a stand to hold them up. So I made a little five fold pop up but used it as a pop out. Mr. and Mrs. Clause fold into the card for mailing but fold out for dimension on the card. I believe that Mr. & Mrs. Claus would have the nativity scene in their home, so I tucked the little nativity scene ornament under the Merry Christmas cross stitch frame. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season. I just love the way it turned out.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

Thank goodness for Favs of the Week or I might have missed this gem. Tonda, everything about your card is wonderful and I loved your story. Who knew, that a stamp you bought 20 years ago, would make its debut in Splitcoaststamperville.

Wow, Tonda!!! Your card is outstanding! What an awesome scene you created. I would love to see this in IRL, as I think it is stunning! There are so many details to the card, and I am enjoying viewing it! Great piece of artwork, Tonda!!!
