So, at the time when I seen the teapot destination this week it was probably while looking at the color combo uploads, and I had all that stuff on the table along with these already diecut words that I had thought about using for my card and discarded the idea after while. ( they kinda look like cheer leader uniform words haha) the color/layer thing. anyways I had also used clear wink of stella on the top letters so they sparkle in real life too. The flower was stamped direct to rubber with misted markers on the neenah and I added some shadows with the pencils. because, I added the purples I decided it no longer fit the color combo this week but, it is pretty close. I pushed these pieces around in my spare time for days over thinking about this and finally just glued it together to send off. Thanks for this challenge Polly & tfl.

The inking on your stunning hydrangea is divine, Stacy!! I have never seen that die cut sentiment, but think I may need to track it down! Your card is awesome!!

I'm glad you did use the die-cut sentiment, it's great , Stacy. And the misting with markers was a super way if colouring the hydrangea. You always use ribbon so well, that sheer softness is so pretty with the big floral image and a contrast to the "cheerleader" sentiment.

I totally love that sentiment! I am going to do more of those type of sentiments as you can do anything you want. Wonderful flower and colors too. Awesome card, Stacy. Hugz

Stacy, it looks great! Isn't it funny how we keep trying to make something work and then all of a sudden we just do it and we like it!! I have noticed that quite often when I get interrupted in the middle of a project and come back to it, I see it in a new way and either really like it in an instant or realize something is off. This looks fabulous. I love the colors and the paper hugs sentiment is so fun!
