Mary is our hostess this week and she has chosen: night of navy, mint macaron, watermelon wonder and for desert: use dsp. I subbed denim for my navy. No dessert for me on this one, but I did use it on my other card
Breaking in my new favorite stamp " Tulip" with some double and triple stamping and lots of masking as I went. To create the first layer of each stamp - and make it lighter - I applied the ink with a dauber rather than by inking it from the ink pad directly. The next layer was stamped full strength and I was really pleased with how this worked! I did add a bit of shading with a copic on my leaves because I was not as successful with getting the first layer light enough. Stamped and embossed the sentiment in black, and then die cut the "happy" from this same panel. Popped it up with dimensionals on top of my watermelon card front. Love the dimensional look this creates. Added stickles for some sparkle - love how this turned out!

I can TOTALLY see WHY you love how this turned out!! It's stupendous!!! I love the die cut greeting and the tulips are equally as lovely as in your other card. Of the two this is my fav. ;)

This card makes me so HAPPY!! Clever use of the die, and love your tulip results. Wonderful masking and layering. I haven't inked my set yet...I'll be using it soon though. ;}
I love the pop of color on the tulips and the Happy is so sublime. A really knockout card! Thanks so much for joining us at the Mod Squad Challenge. Good luck and hope to see you again.
