This is a thank you card for a dear friend of mine who Fed-Exed me 4 containers of German Quark. (OK, it's a very long story, but if you MUST know all about it, PM me and I'll explain!)
The card base is subtle- cheescloth BG stamped in Blush Blossom craft on BB CS. The sentiment is stamped in Brilliance Lightening Black. (*How beautiful a day can be when friendship touches it.*)
I stamped the lily in Versamark on a piece of DP, embossed with detail gold, then cut and dry embossed with a stylus from the back, curling the edges for dimension. It's washed with a bit of watercolor inks. The panel underneath is the same DP overstamped with French Script embossed in detail gold. The corners are micro-mini brads dipped in gold EP, and one corner is a CB diecut, also embossed in Gold Glory EP.
Finally, I stamped the bee onto Paper Vellum and embossed in detail gold, cut it out, shaped it, and mounted it to the narrow white organdy ribbon. I've tied a gold cord with 2 black tassels onto the card.
Thanks for looking; hope you like it!

Beautiful card! You mentioning German Quark is what cracked me up though.... My mother used to make cheesecake with it, delicious. I miss all the German food, well almost all of it....
