Today's Limited Supply Challenge, #150, is to make a card or 3D object using only one color family for CS and inks, and only 2 embellies. I chose to make a pin, using Soft Subtles, and, well, I forgot about limiting the embellies- please don't send the challenge police after me!
I started with a Formica chip sample, and stamped *Cherish* and *Friend* in Staz-On. I applied 2 layers of white mulberry paper colored with a wash of Blush Blossom and Pretty in Pink markers. The bee is stamped in Staz-On on a piece of Barely Banana CS with the small oval punch, and fit into a piece of HodgePodge Hardware. A thick layer of Crystal Effects make him shine and pop. I stamped the Stiple Rose onto sanded white Polyshrink, and colored it with Soft Subtle markers. (The image looks dark because the colors darken up as the Poly. shrinks, but I did use only Soft Subtles markers.) I stamped it twice and cut out the roses to give it extra dimension. Finally, I attached some Swarovski crystals, a rose charm and some fibers.
I hope you like it, and forgive me for using too many embellies!
Thanks for looking!
Maddy

Another WOW! I absolutely love stipple rose and what you have done with it! It's been a long time since I have played with my shrinky dink, but I've just got to try this.....wasn't it hard to cut the roses out?
WOW!! Maddy, this pin is outstanding! The poly shrink roses really blow me away! Your artistic talent never ceases to amaze me! Another fabulous creation!

This is lovely, Maddy! I love how you are using polyshrink! I have been thinking about using some...now I think I will have to dig mine out. I love all the texture! It's so nice to see the Botanicals set used...one of my all time favs!
