We were to make a Thank You card for the Hostess of our Thanksgiving Feast. Well, my mother is the Hostess, each and EVERY year, and that is just how it will always be...She is determined to do it, even if it kills US!!!! LOL!
However, my husband and Markie fry a turkey for the meal and deliver it to Mother's house. Mother also BAKES a turkey for Thanksgiving...We all eat the fried turkey for the FEAST. After the meal is finished, my mom cuts up the baked turkey for everyone's pets! I'm TOTALLY SERIOUS!!!!
So, everytime Speedy the Cat sees the turkey fryer being dragged out, he goes NUTS knowing that he's going to get a treat later in the day!
That's why Speedy the Cat is on this card! My mom will laugh like a crazy person! LOL!
I used a piece of torn paper to mask for the ground and the road. I daubered in Going Gray for the road, and Creamy Carmel for the ground. The trees are daubered in Wild Wasabi. The DP is stamped with the twig from Peaceful Wishes. The Mellow Moss background is stamped with Flannel Plaid in Wild Wasabi. The sentiment was done on my computer with SU! font.
The car was stamped on a transparency with Basic Black. I then rubbed Whisper White on the image and transferred it to the Whisper White! (I wanted to reverse the image!) (My mom lives EAST of us! LOL!)

Cute as can be! Love the coloring and the turkey on top of the wagon. I know your mom was delighted with this special card. Great job.
