Having Splitcoaststamper technical issues, I will edit in the morning. Congratulations Rae!
My title âe~even after' refers to even after all these years, BasicGrey still has my heart! It was the very first DP that caught my eye in my local Ben Franklin craft store! So many happy memories of seeing the 12x12 racks of total paper collections as well as the 6x6 pads. I still love and hoard my BG. When I was looking for my paper to use for Rae's card, it was nice to see I had several sheets of various favorite patterns. Does anyone else know what I mean? Smile.
Back to add details for Rae's FS gallery. I enjoyed walking through your collection. Of course when I saw Rustic All the Best I knew I would have to use my BasicGrey papers just like Rae! I really liked the torn edges, the added texture from the thread and brads. I kept the same DP from a collection called Aged and Confused 'Gumballs'. I changed the layout to a horizontal orientation. Added hand sewing along the lines of the paper and used a different piece of DP for the center (again a BG piece). I used a Tim Holtz 'Gear like' EF along the top panel for texture. I kept the Thanks sentiment.
Rae, it is good to see you have returned to the SCS fold and are adding to your gallery. We are so fortunate to have such a talented, caring, and helpful group of artists among us! Thanks indeed for our community! And I appreciate ya'll stopping by today.
Happy Fourth of July whether you celebrate here or wherever...
