3 challenges in one. Always fun to do. Tea party recipient, Mia loves her shoes, and she most likely has put some on a credit card, which is the implement Janelle asked for. I used it in the small aqua splotches on the BG which was a previously made gel print on vintage wallpaper. I used the Scan n Cut to cut the shoe pattern from a previously made watercolor transfer onto photo paper. (Technique: Applied Dr. Ph Martin concentrated watercolors randomly onto an old recycled piece of a paper tablecloth for a tie dye effect. Made a bunch of BG's by daubing or stamping through it onto photo paper.) Heat embossed the sentiment. Traced a sketchy line around the shoes, added the bling, and mounted on a silver metallic card, which was diamond embossed from a Sizzix EF. The 3rd challenge is for Susie's request for a song. Hence the Paul Simon title and the little music notes. Love this sentiment for its meaning and it's play on words. Â Â

Be still my heart! A mixed media masterpiece...and knowing you neighbor and your well stocked studio...this is fantastic! A delight for the senses...I can just feel the texture of the vintage wallpaper, the diamonds, brilliant, and the tiny musical notes a masterful touch for those with eyes to see! This is sure to strike a chord with Mia as it does me...fav’ed, of course.

Lori, this is so cool. Love the song you chose, the diamonds you added to these fab shoes, and your details. Wow, some great technique, great shoes, and great designing. Mia will love this as I am pretty sure she is convinced shoes are something that touches your soul (one of my favorite stamping up stamps ever btw). So creative and artsy. Thanks for making it! Hugz

Lori, I wanted to let you know that Mia so loves all the cards. She was crying when she was telling me about how much she loved them and how they made her feel special. She has a long road to recovery and I am grateful to everyone who sent her a card! Thanks for being a part of this. Hugz
