Today's Sketch
Watercolor Wednesday: Use Unexpected Color-I used lavender in the water after I used marina mist.
Alphabet Letters L & S-Sailboat, Sky, Soft Suede, L-Lake, Lavender Lace, Lighthouse
I tried something I've never done before, and even though it may not show up much on the computer, in real life it does show up. I used lavender as part of my lake.
Water colored with an aqua painter and ink pads using some markers for the thin line areas. Sponged and popped up over logbook, which is sponged and also Thanks. Thanks for stopping by! ~Roberta

Your card is really pretty. I love the shape around the scene - it reminds me of my sister's island - definitely stealing this idea to make some cards for her! That scene is to die for! Thanks for all the inspiration!

So serene and pretty, Roberta. I like the lavender - I can see just the slightest hint and it is lovely. A great masculine card that exudes peace. Hugz

You CAN see the lavender in the water when you are looking, and it really is very effective at creating a beautiful body of water. I love the SU set that some of these stamps come from and have it--I need to pull it out and use it, hmmm... You've inspired me. What a lovely sailing scene, and it's all colored to perfection. The neutral background really makes the focal image pop, lovely!!!
This is a wonderful thank you card for any sailing enthusiast!
