Toni's challenge this week is to use versamark on our cards. There must be hundreds of techniques with versamarker. The gallery should be very interesting. Needed to make a birthday card for a dear friend who has a flower garden, all the neighbors admire. Did two techniques with the versamarker....first one is to emboss an image with clear powder and water color. It is the easiest way to watercolor, because the water stays in the grooves of the raised embossing. I did the sentiment were you put versamarker on your stamp and then the color you want. Emboss with clear powder. It gives a nice raised and shine to the stamped sentiment. TFL

Oh my goodness, Linda, you did such a beautiful job colouring that stamp. It makes me feel that I probably usually try to use too many different colours on it instead of keeping them in harmony. I agree totally on the embossing being great with watercolours.

This is beautiful work, Linda! The water coloring is just amazing. I forget about making an embossed sentiment any color that I want with that little trick!
