Toni is our hostess for the WTUI challenge this week, you can find it HERE .
I used it as an opportunity to make a Mother's Day card for my MIL (here it was in March).
Flourishes Calendar Year, stamped on a tag and coloured with pencils. Masked, script stamped from French Foliage, also splatters. Sponged with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.
Base - first stencilled with Wilted Violet using quatrefoil stencil. Then with green acrylic paint, using a leaf stencil, I think it was Newton's Nook. Edged with white acrylic paint, then stickles in gold, purple and Star Dust. Bee from Dragonfly Dreams stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with Wild Honey and Stickles on wings. Shabby White chunky EP on card base before popping tag up on foam. SU Oval punch for the âeoepansyâe . I used seam binding dyed with Brushos on the tag.

Beautiful spring card, Sabrina. Not only your stenciled bg and framing, but the gorgeously colored pansies....so life like. Like the added bee accent too.

Bestill my heart Sabrina, what a gorgeous card this is for your MIL. Pansies are a real favorite of mine and these vintage pansies look terrific on your tag with the big of script stamping too. I do not think to stencil a design, then stencil over it with another pattern in a darker color, and this looks fabulous! I need to remember to do this. Your large fuzzy bee really is the perfect finishing touch on this delightful vintage card Sabrina. ~Karen.
