Lisa is our WTUI hostess this week, and I made this for the daughter of a work colleague. You can find the challenge thread HERE.
I used Anita's book card tutorial, which is a pdf attachment in THIS POST. Since I had all that depth to play with, it was a good chance to use up a faux glass flower which has been on my desk for a couple of months. You can find the tutorial for that HERE. I used the TH Tattered Florals Bigz die, blue alcohol ink, a Hero Arts script stamp stamped in StazOn, and a silver pen to edge the petals. I used bling for the centre.
For the back of the book, I took white card and embossed it with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder after stamping the leafy spray from Lovely Peacock. I added the flower and the sentiment. Used some unknown DP to line the inside cover, some sheer ribbon to tie the book closed, and some pearlescent cream card as a frame to create the top "page".

Gee-that flower reminds of a similar look from like....a million years ago when we would form wire and dip it in a liquid plastic and let it dry. I cant remember the name of it. Of course it would not have the cool stazon stamping yours does
