This is my card for "X" and I know it is a stretch. My X is for XL (extra large) referring to the way my gold heat embossing looks. I used the thick end of the versamark pen to draw in my flower stalk and heat embossed in gold. Then I took some stamps from the Bountiful Border (garage sale find last summer) and stamped randomly with different colors. I hope there are no challenge police looking in for my attempt at X, lol. tfl.

This is delightful! Love the unconventional colors, the oversized, chunky flowers and the XL gold embossing. No citation of a violation here, from a volunteer Challenge Deputy!
When I saw that your card had a Christmas message and the challenge was to use an X, I assumed you were relying on the shorthand name for Christmas - Xmas!

A beautiful card, Shirl...love the pretty blues and greens with the gold embossing together. A lovely die-cut font design and your overstamped leaves, berries, and branch formed a lovely combination when finished. Pretty non-traditional Christmas card!

Terrific idea for Letter X. It's a challenging letter and I like how you think! Xtra large is xtra creative. Pretty card in non-traditional Christmas colors. The bright blue and light green look great. The gold embossing adds a lovely touch. Great job using your bargain stamps! TFS

What a fun Christmas card this is Shirl. I love your out-of-the-box thinking when it came to making this wonderful card. Your x-tra large gold-embossed flower stalk really draws the eye right to this glorious cluster of leaves and berries so beautifully. Beautifully done my friend! Hugs! ~Karen.
