 | | For the "G" alpha challenge. Icicle stickles shows mainly blue on the shimmery white. I diluted the stickles with water and used a paintbrush to apply and let dry. These new e.f.'s at Michaels are more 2D, and would not work through my big shot, but I did recently buy the Gemini Jr. and that worked. So happy with that new workhorse! Tried various tapes to adhere the dry embossed panel to the blue glitter, which is very thick glitter c.s., to no avail. But Ranger Multi medium matte worked. It is a good glue.. Brushed the Nuvo pen all along the diagonal lines of the e.f. and also on the petals. It adds a subtle silver shimmer. Adhered the flowers with Xtra large glue dots and small glue dots for the turquoise Verve snowflakes & the Ranger glue to secure the silver punched circles in the centers of the flowers. To adhere the tinies around the sentiment, I put a bit of Art Glitter glue onto my craft mat and used a pointed toothpick to dot the glue on the areas and used my Marvy Jewel picker ( a treasured gift from a friend) to place them but still had to use pointed tweezers to hold them down so that I could lift off the Marvy tool. I tell ya, it was laughable and fiddly but I got it done. I am sure this is more info than anyone wants to read, lol. If you got this far, thanks for looking! |
