Jean is our guest hostess for this month's Tickle a Teapotter - her challenge is here: MMTPT592 It's Tickle Time. When I think feathers, even though I have several feather dies and stamps, I also think birds - there also happened to be a feather stamped in the DOX panel, and I used a feather ef.
Like the Brusho piece on my other card, this DOX panel had been lying around, not a reject but an off-cut from something else. And the other day I was using some DP and the leftovers of that were a good match to the DOX strip. So I laid the DP in the centre of a piece of pearlescent white card and embossed the two with a Crafts Too ef. I edged the DOX panel with a gold pan, and added some gilding flakes to the panel to cover up a blob of ink. The golden branch was cut from one of my tomato paste tubes, and the bird is cut from a piece of Serendipity Squares (see TLC470.

This card reminds me of dawn breaking in the garden with all the lovely soft colours. All so very peaceful and quiet. Love how you recycle the tomato paste tubes too to add a touch of class in gold to the card.
