Jean is our guest hostess for this month's Tickle a Teapotter - her challenge is here: MMTPT592 It's Tickle Time. When I think feathers, even though I have several feather dies and stamps, I also think birds...but I did add an extra fallen feather in the bottom corner.
The Brusho with glass bead gel panel was a discard from some other project, but I knew a vivid-coloured bird would look on it. So I used orange and gold alcohol inks on glossy photo paper and cut the bird from that, adding some gold behind the wings.
For a branch, I took a bit of seam binding that had been dyed in a Brusho mop-up exercise, and laid that across the panel, adding some little tied knots of extra pieces of binding. I added a gold lace border down each side, and, as I said, a fallen feather in the corner, cut from a scrap of Yupo.

OMG your "discard" from another project is my favorite part of this...it's gorgeous! I love the beautiful die cut bird, too and the gold edging....super card!

Another sensational card...that seam binding branch is just too creative and looks amazing. You were right...the bright bird looks perfect on your pretty bg.

That bg is amazing, Sabrina. I need to check out using Brushos and glass beads - wow. Very pretty bird too. Fab! Hugz
