I made this card for this week's Teapot Party Challenge. Polly is our hostess and she chose a wonderful theme of "Hug-a-thon" for this week. This card will be going to Amanda who is going through a really tough time right now. For some reason, daisies make me happy so my hope is this cheerful daisy will make Amanda smile. The background was made by sprinkling color burst powders onto kromekote paper, then spraying it with water. Once the colors were blended the way I wanted them to be, I set this piece aside to dry. I die cut the daisy piece out of white cs, then die cut this piece again using a rectangle die to get the frame around it. The sentiment dies are cut from purple glitter paper. Once the background piece was completely dry, I sprayed it with Elmer's spray adhesive, and poured dazzling diamonds glitter over the entire piece. Shook off the excess glitter and set this aside to dry again. Once dry, it was just a matter of assembling everything with glue and score tape. I am also entering this card into this week's Alphabet Challenge for the letter H for hugs. Thank you for looking today. ~Karen.

That sparkly background in blues and pink is incredible! It makes a spectacular background for your white die cut daisy. They are one of my favourite flowers and I love the clean look you chose for them here!
